President Jonathan Kills the New N5,000 Note!
**since it is the wish of the people, there is no alternative than to reverse it. - GEJ.
The President of Federal Republic of Nigeria, Dr. Jonathan Goodluck, has slammed the door on the Central Bank of Nigeria's proposal to introduce a N5,000 bill come 2013.
The President informed the leaders of the National assembly of his decision when they visited him at the state house. He told them that it is impossible to go ahead with the introduction of the N5,000 note, when Nigerians in great number are against the Policy.
President Jonathan concluded that "since it is the wish of the people, there is no alternative than to reverse it."
