Nigeria: Dangote,100 Drivers Recruitment.6 Ph.D, 704 Masters holders Amongst The List

In what can be said to be the highest show of the level of unemployment in the country, the recent advert placed by the Wealthiest Billionaire in Africa; Aliko Dangote saw 13,000 people who applied for 100 vacant post for Drivers needed. Of the 13,000 applicants, there were six Ph.D, 704 Masters and over 8,460 Bachelor degree holders. These numbers shows the abysmal rate of unemployment in the country. Though it is commendable that the Dangote Group has set up a program to employ youths but is there a structure in place? Are they entitled to health benefits? Is it not possible he tests those with masters and employ them for better Jobs? Personally, I admire Dangote but what is his partnership with Indians. I served in Savannah Numan in Adamawa state and sometimes life at the Indians cos of a truth, must of them are not as good as we the Youth Corpers. As they would normally say, which way Naija!
Also last week, I learnt that thousands of young graduates staged protests at the Ministry of Interior in Abuja when officials denied them access to submit application forms. The ministry has since claimed that no employment was on-going.
Wherever rumour of employment is circulated, thousands of duly qualified candidates turn up to participate.
