Dana Air Commences Flight Operations exactly 5 months after their ill fated crash

Old staff called back and putting on their  new uniforms last week
June 3rd is one day many would never forget both as a nation and also for families that lost their loved ones. Also for the crew of the ill fated Dana plane that crashed in Iju, Lagos.

Exactly 5 months later, the management and staff of Dana Air,on Wednesday the 3rd of October began its test flight in preparation for the resumption of scheduled passenger flight operations.


The airline's spokesman, Mr Tony Usidamen, said the test flights would be followed by demonstration flights. A correspondent of the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) witnessed the test flight which took off from the domestic wing of the Murtala Muhammed International Airport, Ikeja, at about 4 p.m. Usidamen confirmed that after the test flight, demonstration flights would follow, adding that it would finally lead to scheduled commercial flight operations.
