Hervé Renard, Zambian coach given permanent resident permit along side a US$70, 000 Vehicle for making their team win the Nations cup


Do you remember that hot looking blue eyed coach of The Zambian national team who mostly wears White shirts and jeans? Herve Renard by name? well for those of you who missed seeing this French national   coach who took the Zambian team nicknamed theChipolopolo to Victory in the last concluded African cup of nations hosted by two countries Equatorial Guinea and Gabon , thus making it his first title as a coach.
It should be recalled that On the  27th of  April 1993, The Zambian National Football team lost all their players who had a plane crash, killing all 30 passengers, including 18 players and a number of coaches in a Zambian Air Force Buffalo DHC-5D which was carrying the team to Senegal for a 1994 World Cup qualification match. the dedicated their victory to their fallen heroes.
The Zambian government, in appreciation has given the handsome forty-four(44) year old coach permanent residency in Zambia,for winning the 2012 African Cup of Nation with the country instead of waiting for the normal 10years.
Also, Minning giant, Konkola Copper Mines (KCM) has donated  a Toyota Fortune Runner registration number ALG 1782 to Renard at Football House in Lusaka yesterday worthK350 million (US$70, 000) to National Soccer Team coach, Herve Renard as a way of appreciating the Frenchman for aiding Zambia in lifting the 2012 Africa Cup Trophy. KCM chief executive officer (CEO) Jeyakumar Janakaraj said his company would always be ready to offer assistance to sports development programmes in Zambia.








Now thats what you call A country rewarding the efforts of those who help them out.
